POLICY AND RESEARCH HUB

The Hub was created to serve as a central database for climate policies and data in the Region of Peel. The Hub aims to address the lack of knowledge and information available to youth.

The Hub aims to effectively engage youth in local politics and increase local climate literacy in the Peel community. It is also for those that aspire to learn about Peel policies and use this information in their daily lives.

The Peel Climate Policy and Research Hub stemmed from the program Climate Solutions Accelerator, run by Youth Challenge International.

Our Research and Education Team has been working hard to create content for the Hub, including Climate Change Frequently Asked Questions, local climate policies, local climate data, and Climate Commentary.

The Community Climate Council is a youth-founded, not-for-profit organization advocating for local climate action through enhancing climate literacy and political advocacy in Peel Region, Ontario.
